Along with the myth that remote jobs are generally low-paying and low-level, another common myth is that even the good ones must pay less than in-office jobs. However, the average remote worker earns a higher median salary than an in-office worker. And work flexibility appeals to highly educated and experienced workers. A whole 78% of respondents to FlexJobs’ 7th annual survey of 3,000 workers had at least a college degree, and 32% were manager level or higher.
While most of the jobs listed above are for senior-level positions, remote jobs are also available for people at the entry-level, experienced, and manager levels of their careers. As more companies adopt remote work policies, there are growing opportunities for meaningful careers across industries to be done while working from home.
